In a shocking and violent incident, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was attacked in his Mumbai residence. The attack has raised serious concerns about security in the city’s luxury residential areas.
Actor was stabbed in his House-
Saif Ali Khan was brutally stabbed inside his 12th-floor apartment in an upscale Bandra building on Early Thursday morning on January 16. The assailant reportedly entered the residence and attacked the actor repeatedly with a knife, causing severe injuries to his spine, neck, and hand. Despite the severity of the attack, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Doctors revealed that a 2.5-inch piece of the knife was removed from his spine, and although the injuries were serious, the actor is out of danger and recovering well.
What Happened at Saif Ali Khan House-
Actor’s domestic help Elyimma Philips alias Lima who was present in the house and she first spotted the accused entering in the flat. She tried to stop an accused and in scuffles she got injuries in her hand. Hearing her scream, Saif Ali Khan came and fight started with him. The accused was carrying sharp kind of object with him and stabbed Khan, said police.

“Saif Ali Khan is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery,” the statement read.
•According to a police official, the intruder broke into the actor’s residence and got into a physical altercation with him. Some family members were reportedly present at the time. Khan sustained knife injuries but is out of danger.
•While a senior police officer acknowledged the possibility of a robbery, they refrained from providing further details due to the ongoing investigation. Bandra police have initiated an inquiry following their swift response to the incident.

“We suspect the help must have allowed him entry and due to some reason a fight took place. She is being interrogated by the local police to get more details about the accused. Seven local police teams are working to track him down.”

The Mumbai Police have released the first image of the alleged attacker, which was captured by CCTV cameras inside the building. The image shows the suspect descending the stairs while glancing at the camera, providing an important lead for the police. Authorities believe that this image could play a crucial role in identifying and locating the attacker, who fled the scene immediately after the assault.

Actor Karenna Kapoor’s team has issued a statement on the stabbing of her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. Saif is currently at Lilavati Hospital undergoing surgery. The doctors have said that the attacker missed any vital organs and the actor’s spine is ok.

Who took saif ali khan to hospital-
The Mumbai Police say that Ibrahim and a member of Saif’s staff brought the actor to Lilavati Hospital around 3.30 am. Since there was no driver at home at that hour, he was brought in an auto rickshaw, says police. Saif was admitted to the Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent multiple surgeries.
